New Member Steak Fry Saturday
Saturday, January 11th is New Member Night. The celebrations begin with Happy Hour and live music from our own Keenan Cooper 4:00 – 7:00pm. At 6:00pm a steak dinner will be served and everyone who plans to have dinner must sign up by calling or emailing Sue (231) 920-6769 or by signing up on the sheets in the rest room hallway. Cost is $19 for adults and $10.00 for kids under 12. There will be non steak options for anyone who prefers(let Sue know when signing up) Please plan to come and welcome our new members!
Alumni Potluck Tuesday, Jan 14
Tuesday, January 14th, is the Club Reunion and Potluck. This 5:00 - 7:00pm event is a way for former and non-skiing members to catch up with each other and the current membership. ALL members are invited. It is an annual gathering of good food, good friends, and good music with DJ Glen. Everyone attending should bring a dish to pass, the bar will be open as well. Please reach out to past members with details and a reminder to join the event. We hope to see you there!
The Passing of Scott Swanson
“I’ll ski until I die, and then I’ll ski in heaven” - Scott
Speaking of alumni, the Club lost longtime member Scott Swanson on January 1st when he passed away peacefully at Butterworth Hospital. Read more in Scott’s Cadillac News obituary HERE.
Nominations Open for New Board Members
The CSC Board of Directors Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for two open Board positions. Deadline for nominations is Saturday, January 18. Individuals interested in running for the Board, a four-year term position, please contact Mark Pikula (markpikula@comcast.net) or Chris Medema (camedema@gmail.com).
Looking for Kids Activity Leader(s) for Family Day - February 1
If you love having fun with kids and want to help lead activities for this day of family fun please reach out by emailing Jessica or Leah. Activities run from 4:00 - 6:00pm in the round room.

*Notice for Bar Entry - Any member entering the bar during bar hours must sign in and show a photo ID at the bar. Any guests must also be signed in and introduced to the bartender. Only members may purchase drinks at the bar. A member must be present and pay for any guest drinks.
