Annual Membership Dues
Invoices for 2024-25 Caberfae Ski Club dues went out last week and payments are due by October 1, 2024. Reminder that a $50 late fee will apply after October 1st.
Payments should be mailed to Caberfae Ski Club, P.O. Box 655, Cadillac, MI 49601. Online payment is available upon request, with a 3.1% processing fee applied. Send an email to SecretaryTreasurer@caberfaeskiclub.org to request your invoice resent with the online payment option enabled. If you have questions, please email Secretary-Treasurer@caberfaeskiclub.org.
Bike Ride and Picnic - Saturday, August 31
The annual summer bike ride and picnic will be held Saturday, August 31st. Those who wish to ride should meet at the Cadillac City Park parking lot at 10:00 a.m.. Bikers will ride the bike path around Cadillac Lake and another group may go a longer route.The potluck picnic begins at 4:00 p.m. at the Club. Bring lawn chairs and a dish to share. Fall Float Scheduled for Saturday, September 7
The group will leave from Elm Flats at 10:00 a.m. to Dobson Bridge which is a 2 1/2 hour trip and has been arranged by Mary and Rick Stubbs. Those renting kayaks/canoes should meet at Dobson Bridge at 9:30 a.m., where Hoxeyville Outfitters (formerly Bosmans Canoe) will then transport the group to Elm Flats to begin the float. To reserve a watercraft please call Hoxeyville Outfitters (231) 862-3661 or 877-622-6637 and mention that you are part of the Caberfae Ski Club float trip. All rentals include paddles, life jackets or cushions, transportation and parking fees.
Fees for the day trip: Kayak $42, Canoe $47, 4-person raft $95, 6-person raft $125. Anyone using their own boat will need to take care of parking fee ($5) and shuttle. National Park passes will cover the parking fee if displayed from dashboard or hung from rear view mirror.

Next Board Meeting Friday, October 4
Our fall Board Meeting will be held at the Club at 5pm, Oct 4rd, the night before our Fall Work Bee.
Fall Work Bee (and Golf Outing?) - Saturday, October 5
Join us for the Fall Work Bee to ensure the club is ship shape for the upcoming ski season! Don’t forget to sign in to get credit for your efforts! Lunch to follow. Work begins at 8:30 a.m. If you’re interested in organizing a golf outing for the afternoon portion of the day contact Paul Waug directly. Work bee credit for the volunteer who organizes the golf outing. Reserve your tee time directly with Caberfae (231) 862-3000.
